"and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." - John 8:32
Van De Bogart Ministries - Truth, Not Tradition!

The Philippian Jailer asked the apostle Paul, “What must I do to be saved.” Paul answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved” (Acts 16:30-31).

VanDeBogart Ministries has a burning desire for everyone to know Jesus accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior. After Adam and Eve sinned by disobeying God, we need a Savior and washed clean of our sins.

Before Jesus came to earth, people attempt to save themselves and failed because “we have all sinned and fell short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). We cannot save ourselves and need to be reconciled to God. Without the blood of Jesus, we will face God’s wrath.

We serve a perfect, good, and just God. He cannot and does not tolerate sin and cannot simply overlook the fact that we chose to disobey Him. The Bible says “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Not physical death, but spiritual death. Fair payment for our rebellion against God and the punishment we deserve.

Spiritual death caused a separation from God, but spiritual life brings us into a fellowship with God and eternal life in heaven. Jesus paved the way for reconciliation to God, redemption from the curse, and forgiveness of sin. All it takes is for you to accept this wonderful free gift with no works involved.

Jesus died for everyone and shows no partiality. You can be saved and reconciled to God right now by accepting Jesus into your life. It doesn’t matter what you have done in the past, He will not reject you. Jesus came to earth and lived a perfect sinless life.

Jesus faced death on the cross even though completely innocent. Freely took the punishment that we deserved, the perfect sacrifice, and took on Himself the sentence of death in our place (Romans 5:8).

Romans 10:9-10, “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”

The great thing is that any place is a good place to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I did it at a Naval Hospital recuperating from injuries. If you have a burning desire to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, repeat this prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, I believe that Jesus died for me, paid for my sins on the cross, and rose from the dead. I ask You, Lord Jesus to forgive me of my sins and wash me clean. I put my faith and trust in You as my only hope for living eternally in heaven. I ask Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Son of the Living God to be my Lord and Savior. I want to live my life for You, Jesus. I understand that my Salvation is not based on my works but Your sacrifice on the cross. Thank you, my King, for saving me! In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!

If you prayed this right now, CONGRATULATIONS! you are born again, completely forgiven of all sins, reconciled to God the Father, redeemed from the curse, and you are a new creation. WELCOME to the kingdom of God! Your name, today, is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life! Now, come and get baptized in the Holy Spirit!
