Van De Bogart Ministries - Truth, Not Tradition!

About Us

Truth, not tradition! My wife came up with this statement because we both have been to many different churches and denominations. We have heard doctrines from Catholic, Mormon, Baptist, Presbyterian, Church of God, Pentecostal, and some non-denominations. We have heard good pastors that are on fire and are not afraid to bring the truth at all costs, but also heard some pastors that preach nothing but confusion.  What a shame to led others down the wrong path. We need to properly evangelize to the lost and then make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20). The Bible is the best tool but must be used properly, and the REAL TRUTH will be exposed. God’s people prosper over the truth and faith comes from hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17).

In our world today, many are missing Christ in their lives. Look at our homes, neighborhoods, communities, and governments today. Churches are dwindling at an alarming rate. Satan has a tight hold on many people in the world and is leading them into destruction spiritually. In any era, we are only one generation away from Christianity becoming non-existent.

We were talking one evening and the Lord spoke to both of us about starting an online ministry. We would pray about it and when I graduated with my Bachelors in Biblical Studies, we thought it was time. God had different plans to take a break and get prepared to start my Master’s program at Oral Roberts University.  After writing my first paper in my Master’s program, it was suggested to start a blog. We did one better and started our online ministry.

My wife and I are very passionate and have a calling from God to bring the real truth of the gospel, evangelize, and make disciples. We hope that this site will be a blessing and you feel God’s presence as you read the contents of our site.

Let me introduce myself:

My name is Dale Van De Bogart and I am the Senior Pastor and co-founder of Van De Bogart Ministries, located in North Carolina, USA. I am a bi-vocational pastor, which means that, for now, I work full-time in the private sector and preach God’s Word. As God continues to prosper us, then I can be a full-time pastor. I grew up in a very ungodly family and environment. We could be known as the “anti-Christian” family. Anger issues I had when I was younger got fueled by large and constant alcohol consumption. Got into a terrible accident in 1991 and accepted Jesus, my Lord, and Savior, back in 1992. I was blessed to be able, only by the grace that I received from God to retire from the United States Navy in 1999.

After fighting with God for a few years, knowing that He called me to ministry, starting in 2005. I started teaching Bible studies and adult Sunday school. Preparing lessons and enjoying becoming entrenched in God’s Word. Then I added Vacation Bible School (VBS) Director for three years. Eventually, I became an Associate Pastor. In 2016, God had a different plan for me. He wanted me to focus on my education, so I stepped down and moved to another part of North Carolina.

My educational background: Masters of Christian Ministry from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Carolina College of Biblical Studies, Fayetteville, North Carolina.
